welcome to Kannapolis, North Carolina.
Kannapolis was once known as a Mill working town. As of today, we have a new research campus in its place.
The best time to visit here, is the summer in my opinion. In kannapolis we don’t have a beach, but off the cost in the outer banks we do. Summer is the best time because no school and its warm. Kannapolis is like any other place in the united states, we just get a little less snow in the winter.
If you would come here, you would need to visit The Dale Earnhardt statue. He was a famous nascar driver and he grew up here. Another place that you should visit is A. L brown, the high school. The big thing for football season is at the high school is the game against concord. Wonders vs. spiders. Its the biggest game of the season. People call it ”the battle of the bell”. This year the wonders took home the bell, once again. (;
Kannapolis is unique because its a place with a history. Our community has came so far with the new technology in schools. We have so many different types of people who have came together in one place. You would need to know English and Spanish for sure, Mostly English tho. No special clothing, Just dress for the right type of weather and season and you would be fine.
So if your ever in North Carolina come to kannapolis.

if only the mill was still here the history would be remember but as the yuears go by I supose we have to make room for some new history a new begining. Kannapolis also holds a world record for one of the oldest water towers. You know the one they tore down because it was to old…thats funny. Any way I loved your blog I would have never thought about writing about a snall town that we call our home.
